Publix 8/8/2013 - 8/14/2013 and a recipe

I wasn't thrilled with the sales for this week but here is what seemed like good deals to me.

• Kraft Mac & Cheese Dinner boxes BOGO 2/1.95 =$.98 each
• Bertolli Pasta Sauce 15-24oz jars BOGO 2/$309 = $1.55 per jar
• Barilla Pasta 12-16oz boxes BOGO 2/$1.59 = $.80 per box
• Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce 28oz bottle $3.39 = $1.70
• Rosetto Frozen Ravioli, Stuffed Shells or Cheese Tortellini BOGO 2/$4.49 =$2.25
• Pillsbury Brownie Mix 19.5oz box BOGO 2/1.99 =$1.00

A good easy cheap crockpot recipe for the BBQ sauce that is on sale. 

I use the $6.98 for a 3lb bag of frozen chicken breasts from Wal-Mart and put that in the crockpot.  Take 1 bottle of the BBQ sauce and dump it on top.  Set the crockpot to low and then let it cook 8 hours. About 7 hours in pull out the chicken and shred it, then toss it back in for the last hour. There you have it, quick easy and tasty BBQ pulled chicken.  Just serve on Hamburger Buns, we like them toasted, YUM.
