Milk prices have soured

Was calling to my neighbor tagged lives in Indiantown and she was telling milk is $6.99 a gallon out there.  

Yesterday I was in Wal-Mart and it was $3.99 a galon for their brand

Went to Winn Dixie and bought an off brand for $3.29 a gallon (ok I bought 2)

I snapped a photo if what they were getting for name brand milk

Went to Winn Dixie

I went to Winn Dixie on my way home today to snag some deals.

I got Diet Coke, 2 packages of Hamburger Buns, 2 Loaves of Bread, 2 packages of boneless skinless chicken breast (40 oz each), 8.25 lbs of chop meat, 5.5 lbs bone in skin on chicken breasts, 10 guava yogurts, and 2 gallons of milk.

The total receipt was : $84.93 - savings card savings of $36.60 meant the bill was $48.33!

All in all good haul!

My Walgreens Experience

I went to Walgreens today to cash in on some of the deals they had this week.  Now mind you Jeremy had already gone in earlier in the week and gotten us 2 gallons of milk.  This weeks milk deal is $1.00 cheaper than the cheapest place around town (Wal-Mart).

Anyhow here is what I got:
